  • I am a complete beginner in French, can I still buy your program?
Absolutely! We have had students who were beginners when they started our program. We look for students who understand the difficulty of this objective (obtaining CLB 7 score in TEF) and are committed to work for it with consistency. Thus, we encourage such motivated beginners to apply for our program.
  • Does your program have levels like A1, A2, B1, B2 ?
No. Our program is accelerated French learning course designed for TEF Canada exam prep. So unlike normal language courses we DO NOT measure a student's progress in A1, A2,B1 etc. Thus, our program has no direct mapping with any other language course.
  • How is this course different from that of traditional French learning institutes?
Our program is fast-paced, intense courses which is heavily designed for TEF/TCF Canada exam preparation. The onus is more on students. Also, traditional courses are more suitable for DELF exam prep rather than TEF/TCF Canada.
  • Is DELF exam same as TEF/TCF? I have passed DELF B1, am I good to go for TEF?
DELF and TEF Canada are completely different exams. Your DELF B1 or even B2 diploma doesn't guarantee similar level score in TEF which is a much more difficult exam. TEF difficulty level is similar to that of IELTS.
  • I have done A1/A2/B1 in French from somewhere else, so how much time do I need for TEF Canada?
Difficult to answer. If you have taken 6-7 months of French lessons in recent times - it shall still take you 6-7 months of rigorous effort to obtain a CLB 7 level score in TEF Canada. Please consider the fact that studying for TEF exam is a different proposition than attending a normal language course.
  • How much time do I need to succeed if I am a complete beginner?
That really depends on your effort. But for complete beginners, it takes minimum 9-12 months to reach B2 (CLB 7) level provided that the student can work hard on consistent basis. Any new language takes time for retention, it is akin to rewiring of neurons in our brain. You can't shorten this duration beyond a certain limit.
